What Mother's Day is at the school
Mother's Day is an observance, a day set aside to recognize mothers and the care they give their children. At Mill Basin Gan Daycare it is held at the school, the same place where children spend their days in the Mill Basin Gan program and in summer camp. It sits alongside other occasions the school observes through the year, including Cinco de Mayo, Memorial Day, Flag Day and Juneteenth. For questions about how the school marks the day, families are welcome to contact the school.
Who it is for and what to know first
This observance is meant for the school community. It is not open to the public, so the families of the children at Mill Basin Gan Daycare are the focus. The event has not been cancelled. Because the day is held at the school, it helps to check in with the school before you plan around it, especially if you have questions about how your child's day will look. We have parents and families of young children in mind as we welcome you to this day.
